When an individual is facing a difficult medical condition, their doctor may prescribe complete-nutrition drinks, such as Boost or Ensure. This includes, but is not limited to, cancer, low body index, dementia, oral surgery, children undergoing treatment, etc.

Through Harvest Healing, Second Harvest Community Food Bank is able to assist those in need with the vital nutrients they need to heal. Patients can bring a doctor’s note indicating need to Second Harvest to apply for the program. Once enrolled in the program, they will receive a case of Boost, Ensure, or an equivalent product once each month.
